It is a shame that we keep hearing the bad stuff and not the amazing things. How many pictures have we seen of looting, but very few of the caregivers who stayed with the elderly. I did see one shot of a woman being airlifted with her elderly patient, holding his oxygen as they were strapped together and hauled up to a helicopter. She could have left him, but didn't. Those are the pictures that bring tears to my eyes.
That woman had just the right amount of gratefulness and anger.
I saw an interview two days ago with someone from the projects by the French Quarter. The young man said that when it's time to vote, Nagin and his ilk were all over down there saying "Vote for us. We're homies", but that when this happened, they were nowhere to be seen, and had gotten themselves and their families out, and could've cared less about their voting base.
LOL! I'm sure there are crazies who would have said this astute young man was a Rove Plant.

Saw that and I believe she started out reading the sign and mentioning his name - thought it was great!
One of the panel that's on Cavuto every week (Jim? - he wears the bow tie) is from the area and he went on to tell everyone that the flooding was the fault of the local politicians and about how they had spent the $$s for the levees, etc. on a casino, a private plane, and on and on - hope this continues to come out LOUD AND CLEAR!!
