I wonder how many rapes (or murders, for that matter) took place in NO every night under 'normal' circumstances, and if there has been any increase at all in their numbers, or just national coverage of them.

I bet they weren't up much (if at all), considering how high the murder rate is in NO ordinarily.

Since the city has to be evacuated, probably for the remainder of the year, they are making up for their yearly numbers in advance...
