If they're getting on-scene now, that means that the actual "mobilization" was 24-48 hours ago. It takes TIME to move assets and get unpacked/setup/organized. 24-48 hours is really pushing it, and shows a heroic effort on the part of our military.

Yeah, perhaps they were already mobilizing prior to yesterday's visit. My thought was that Bush saw the disarray on the ground and really "motivated" some folks to get their butts in gear.

My take on it is that the guys-on-the-ground were already working their butts off to make this happen.

The only people that needed "motivated" were the politicians and others doing the whining/carping/complaining instead of helping.
