According to the Pew report, “Mexicans overall represent about 32 percent of the foreign-born population, a high figure by historical standards but not unprecedented; both Irish and German immigrants accounted for a higher percentage of the foreign-born at various points in the mid- and late-19th century.”
The number of Mexican immigrants has increased an average of 8 percent each year over three decades. Their number increased from 760,000 in 1970 to more than 11 million in 2004. The Pew report says about 80 percent to 85 percent of that increase is because of illegal immigration.
(BS numbers. Los Angeles county alone has more than 2.4 million)
As much as I hate to connect the two issues, cost will be the glue that binds them together.

WE suddenly have lots of citizens that will need jobs, even low paying jobs until we get this situation resolved. Wonder where those jobs will come from?
How much of our tax money is going to go to assist illegal aliens? That's a valid question since aid other than emergency medical should be for American citizens only.
I have not, will not, and probably will NEVER buy any products from Mexico, hire a Mexican even with a green card, or go to Mexico until the murderers are brought to justice. In my view Vincente Fox is guilty of murder after the fact for harboring these criminals. BOYCOTT MEXICO NOW

Are you kidding? Come to the S.F. Bay Area, you will see the same thing - coming from the illegal aliens from Mexico. Grand theft auto out of control. Mexican illegal alien gangs, their "tagging", their weapons, death, drugs. All those who "do the work" hanging out in front of the Home Depots, what do you think is going to happen when we have a major disaster in S.F. Bay Area or L.A.? These people will make the relief effort, the recovery, the ability to manage out of control maniacs and gangs, virtually impossible, add to the costs, to the pain and misery. Send them home now, before it's too late. Before they become the police dept that throws down their weapons and say "I quit". Before you town becomes as corrupt as any town in Mexico. This is a dangerous situation. As I said before, California is now ONE BIG WEAK LEVEE ready to break if anything really goes wrong. What you see in New Orleans, it will be much, much worse in the S.F. Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Jose, and so many other places. Hope you have a gun, because when it happens in California, there won't be any police to help you, no time soon. You're on your own. Hope that a lot of your neighbors aren't those illegal aliens from Mexico. If they got to be illegal, just hope they are from Vietnam, or China - culture makes a difference. My guess is a lot of the so-called "Europeans" and "Canadians" are really naturalized citizens from Islamic Countries.
