Hollywood star GEORGE CLOONEY has slammed modern broadcast journalism, because he fears viewers are fed lies they want to hear instead of "a common truth".
The OCEAN'S TWELVE heart-throb is amazed by how standards in newsrooms have regressed, despite the ever-growing array of channels, and insists moral standards leave much to be desired.
He recalls, "When I was growing up there were three networks and basically the same information.
"Now, because we've fractioned into little pieces, you go look for the things that reinforce what you already believe to be fact and don't get a common truth."
Oh, boo-hoo.
So the liberal media doesn't have exclusive ownership of the air and a lock on brainwashing the American mind.

I have to admit that bit is right. The slide began when networks started making their news departments earn their own money. After that, news was a chase for the almighty dollar rather than fact.
Up is down. White is black. Right is wrong. Moral is Immoral.

Boy you and I are alike in those thoughts! It KILLS me when I read these Hollywood actors giving their opinions about ANYTHING ***HELLO*** These are people that make their living by SOMEONE ELSE WRITING THEIR WORDS!!!! And people just oooooo and ahhhhhhhh over what they say! It is soo INFURIATING to me!
