I just listened on a national trucking radio show to a driver who is at a staging area some distance away from NO, on contract with FEMA. He says that they keep trying to send convoys in with supplies, and once they get close the convoys keep getting shot at, forcing them to turn around.

The same was being said about the rescue boats. Something has to be done to stop this nonsense, and quick.

My SIL was asked to drive a truck load of supplies to NO and he said sure. The next day they canceled that run as two of their drivers were killed. They will now go to Jackson and let the Red Cross take it from there.
