I heard that reporter say that too. Although I think he was quoting local officials or something. Good idea though. Nobody has time or resources to deal with that problem. The looters are contributing nothing but headaches and people could be saved with the resources they do have. Time to shoot them.
Fox reporter saying Narcotics have to be returned to the DEA within 48 hours or something like that in a disaster. he was showing a picture of a pharmacy owner loading up his safe that had narcotics in it.
New Orleans will be shut down for 3 or 4 months. This means NO is dead. People who worked in the city are going to need to get jobs elsewhere, and they most likely won't come back when the city is re-opened. Businesses that were based in NO are going to have to try to relocate. Those that don't go bust won't have the $$$ to relocate back in NO
I told my husband that listening to a couple of people that Shep was interviewing reminded me of Gone with the Wind -- saying: What do I do, tell me what to do and I'll do it. Have we kept these poor people down so low that they haven't grown at all in 140 years? If so... that is a real indictment of us all.

My Windows Media Player 10 won't load any of the links and I won't use Real Player because it just about takes over your computer and loads Spyware and I don't want to take the time to try to find and disable all their crap.
