The word moron was the first that occurred to me also. I actually typed it in and returned to remove it. I didn't want to add any insult to the NO inhabitants insulting their mayor.
I agree with you. He couldn't even read the order. It was rather embarassing. I'm sure he was nervous, but it made me uncomfortable to watch him. He sure wouldn't promote confidence in me if I lived in NO.
Yet we deride liberals when they say the same thing about Bush. I don't know anything about the guy's politics but from what I've seen from his announcements, he has done a good job.
I would have zero confidence in this Mayor. When he couldn't make up his mind last night to order an evacuation, I couldn't believe it.
