The bible is just another book. It may or may not teach anything.
I am not sure why any skeptic would waste so much time arguing about an oriental book. That is one I have never figured out, unless it is for political reasons.
That is the exception that I have found. Why do agnostics, atheists, etc. (like me) spend so much time and energy talking about some book called the bible? Politics?

"Bible" should always be capitalized whether you believe in it or not, out of respect for others. It is the Holy Book of the largest Religion on this planet. Readers of this book have created the greatest country in the history of the universe, the United States of America.
