And we all know why that is: Everybody (liberals and conservatives alike) runs to the 'burbs to escape the "great unwashed", the "underclass".

Nobody want to live w/ 'em, have their kids go to school w/ 'em, get robbed by them, etc... (and I'm not specifying a skin tone here either - they come in all shapes and sizes)

At least for us conservatives, our behavior is not diametrically opposed to our philosophies. But for liberals, every single one in the 'burbs should be ashamed of himself.

Seems to me this guy's been half asleep.

Joel Garreau's Edge City says just about the same thing he's saying, and he was writing in the 1970s.
