Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
Fox is covering it now! Your calls and emails have gotten through!
Well, whadda ya know. They're showing it. It's about time!
I've been sinding emails to everyone who has programs on FOX this weekend, and to the general email, AND have been calling them . . . think if more people are doing this they're finally getting the hint???????

Also for poor Al, I fear the real deal down-home BBQ will be in team America's camp! Meat is usually an anathema to lefties. Guess he'll have to settle for tofu burgers and alfalpha sprouts while the savory smell of real BBQ wafts across the camp!

FNC doing a story on it now, with Greg Kelley. Talking about Cindy Sheehan and how important she is, showing her. Talking about the You Don't Speak for me Cindy now; showing the Bush supporters -- three locations. Estimates vary on how many are there....they bitterly oppose CIndy...talks about funding for pro-troops folks, and about the funding for anti-Bush rallies. Not a very good report, imho. Says more coverage coming up later.
Evidently THREE different pro-Bush/pro-troop rally's in Crawford.
I was told on Wednesday that my CDs would be sent to be on Friday. Let's see if it finally happens.

Damn bias coverage from Greg Kelly. He wouldn't give out the numbers for our side and said that we're funded by Move America Forward just like their side funded by moveon.org....
I can't say what I think of him right now or I'll be banned for life......ugh!
