WHAT A CROCK! The outside temperature at my home in Torrance is 76 degrees. It "never" gets hot here and air conditioned houses are virtually non-existent. So, electricity savings by cutting power here will be nil, but we're nevetheless scheduled to get shafted at 5:00. I hope some frigging environmentalist are happy because I am not.

hehehhe.....

That is almost Funny. I live in Temecula, and it's about 99 right now. Thanks for rolling along so I can keep cool. It is much appreciated.

But I think we shoudl all have mini nuke plants outside where the meters are.

Just to irritate you, it was 101 at my place and my neighborhood is on a NEVER GETS SHUT OFF area. It's either because we are near a hospital or because we are near the mall. I noticed that the local big mall is also in the same section.

I miss that part of living in Torrance. I've lived in Torrance off and on for about 20+ years since 1976. It has perhaps the best weather in the entire USA. Any further north and you get the tips of storms as they sweep off the ocean, and any further south and it's hotter.

You don't even have to listen to the weather report because it's the same 9 days out of 10. Late night and early morning low clouds, burning off around mid-day. Temps at the beach in the mid to low 70's, 80's inland. MMmmmmmMMmmmmm! No wonder you guys are so crowded!

On really hot days I'd take my motorcycle for rides around Palos Verdes to cool off. Those were good times!
