Johnny Carson: It was so hot in L.A. today
.
How hot was it?
Carson: It was so hot that if you ordered at Burger King, they said if you want it your way, make it yourself.

Per KFI: Major transmission line DOWN that brings power from Pacific North West. Pasadena and Rancho Cucamunga have no power.
Figures:
Most California power is generated out of state since in is "Ecologically Unfriendly" for them to generate their own.
They better pray and pray hard that the Texas pipelines stay together.

Sorry about that power spike, I was just testing my mind-control ray. Back to normal people.

There's a fire at I-210 and La Tuna Canyon road.
Ah, an electrical fire?
Brush fire - they're telling people not to use the 210 in that area for the evening commute.

First step in the terrorist manual....
1. Disrupt the grid....create artificial spikes,
2. Do it in the most politically 'left' area you can find,
3. Wait for hysteria,
4. Proceed with plan in area of real objective.......

My impression is that Bush has been doing everything he possibly could to get that new energy bill through. Although I have not yet had a chance to even look at the summary, I am told it is festooned with so much pork you can barely find the real energy provisions. Lets hope this one doesn't turn out to be an energy bill in title only--took too long for that.
Arnold and Sacramento share much of the blame. They have basically done nothing to show that the lessons of the California energy crisis have been learned.
Lets do nothing some more.

Just Checked my group, I'm not included today, so I guess I'll leave for my son's practice and crank it down to 68.
That's what I remember as a kid. 72 in Winter, and 68 in Summer.... lol Or Reverse it, anything to do to mess with the moronic libs who don't want to build more power plants.

Since a major powerline is OUT that brings supply from the Pacific Northwest, you can't blame Arnold.
