are you retarded? bhopal was caused by an american company, that made batteries, and had nothing whatsoever to do with nuclear power.

Wow. Before you respond to someone asking if they're retarded, do yourself a favor and actually know what you're talking about.

Bhopal may have been an American company, but if you did a little reading, you would know that the cyanide leakage occurred because the American ownership was essentially AWOL from day-to-day oversight and employee training. The workers who literally fell asleep at the switch were ill-trained locals who did not know the proper procedure to seal off the leak once it started. Bureaucratic indifference and general incomepetence, as far as I'm aware, don't necessarily stop at the front door of a nuclear plant, so I'm not sure what making batteries has to do with a systemic lack of proper safeguards.
