The Police in Seattle don't want to exercise any prior restraint on this savages, and the paper doesn't want to publish all the violent crime that they commit.
They don't want the tourism at the ball park area spoiled.
There was a similiar murder few years back that couldn't be covered up and was an economic disaster.

Mardi Gras, 2001?
If so it wasn't so much the beatings and one beating death it was how Seattle reacted as though nothing happened. Like you said, Seattle could not cover up. This was clear racial black-on-white violence.
If the victims here were also black then maybe Seattle will try to get the bad guys without being prodded from outside. I hope so.
They couldn't cover up because it became a hot item on talk radio all over the country. (When will liberals ever get it, they are no longer information gatekeepers.)
"Seattle Mardi Gras Riots," From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
"In 2001, Seattle, Washington, USA's Mardi Gras celebrations were marred by increasing levels of violence, culminating in "Fat Tuesday" riots in Pioneer Square on February 27 when one man, Kris Kime, was killed, and 70 or more were injured." [End excerpt]
It took a looooong time for Seattle to admit that Mr. Kime died as a result of a beating. Video was used to ID suspects but there was a lot of PC forces at work to just say Mr. Kime, though clearly beaten by black men, died as a result of tripping and hitting his head on the pavement. He was going to the aid of a white women being beaten by the black men.
Lots of whites beaten by blacks and most captured on video. One Asian was arrested for having a gun, he used it to protect himself from being beaten. It was on video. Seattle went after him.
PC Seattle tried to look the other way but pressure from outside Seattle and the rank and file of the police union forced PC Seattle to look for the blacks shown beating white men and women on video.
Why bring this up? Because Seattle's PC crowd will do everything to sweep this under the rug -- unless the victims were also black. In that case, expect Seattle to get the bad guys without being prodded from outside. I hope.
