Shoot, forget about the indian names, I think the parents of the pregnant teens should sue for all the sexual references that tempted them to sex ala Trojans.

The school said they are setting up a program. I bet money they already had a sex-ed (no abstinence), program in place and were giving out condoms (if planned parenthood did it, their condoms are second to worse by Consumer reports...gotta get them back later for abortions).

I know it's about a month after the original post, but for accuracy's sake, please note that Planned Parenthood in Canton has not been allowed to provide sex ed in any Canton City Schools for several years. Even when PP was allowed in the schools, PP was only allowed to speak to pregnant girls about how to be a good parent and how to prevent a second pregnancy. Canton City Schools utilize abstinence-only-until-marriage programs and have for several years, while PP includes abstinence in its comprehensive sex ed programs. The local Pregnancy Support Center and Community Services (formerly Catholic Charities) are involved in the sex ed programs at Canton City Schools. Planned Parenthood hasn't even been invited to provide input for the newly formed Teen Pregnancy Task Force. Even when the local Planned Parenthood is allowed to go to a school in Stark County, they are not allowed to bring condoms and hand them out. Maybe in the past, but certainly not now. In addition, please note that there is no abortion provider in Canton. Canton's Planned Parenthood does not provide abortions. The closest provider is in Akron. Planned Parenthood in Canton provides reproductive health care and family planning services to women and men. How do I know? I live in Akron and work for a non-profit in Canton. For awhile, it was all the community talked about. Now, I guess it is old news. How unfortunate. It would be nice if the community stayed outraged for more than five minutes.
