I am heading to Wally World in about an hour. Yes, I carry, 'nuff said.
Reporters always call crime "a shooting" when they can, despite that most good citizens are themselves "shooters".
Our sad, sad, times. Sigh
I was wondering when Walmart "associates" would turn "postal".
Three years ago a skinhead pull a gun on me in a small community park directly across the street from the same Wal-Mart. For some reason, the slime thought I was waiting in ambush for him. Thankfully, he didn't shoot, but it scared the **** out of me. Now, I refuse to be caught by surprise again, despite CA's unconstitutional gun laws.
Support right-to-carry legislation and oppose the gun grabbers.
I wonder if the fact that Sam Walton is no longer alive might be part of it. Their customer service really sucks.
A tragedy caused by the climate of hatred caused by left-wing radio...
Any idea which one it was?
I noticed not one person gave descriptions of the people who did this as several people were out there when it happend.
Unreal.........two people are dead and all the WalMart bashers can do is bash WalMart - disgusting.
May they rest in peace and prayers for their families.
We had a murder at one of our local Wal-Marts. The Spurned Lover ambushed, shot and killed the woman who worked there as she was on her way in to work. Same thing happened in the 80's at a local mall. Exact same M.O.
It's not Wal-Mart's faoult. Remember when it was all the rage to shoot up a McDonalds? Criminals are so PC and trendy these days. *Rolleyes*
Hey, Sweets! Ya missed one! :)
(08-23) 18:22 PDT Glendale, Ariz. (AP) --
Two Wal-Mart employees were shot to death Tuesday as they gathered shopping carts in the parking lot of one of the retail stores in suburban Phoenix, and police later arrested the suspected gunman.
The shootings occurred in the middle of the parking lot, about 75 yards from the store entrance. At one point, a body could be seen in one of the corrals used for collecting shopping carts.
Hours later, police spokesman Mike Pena said a suspect had been arrested without incident in a retirement community in nearby Peoria.
Investigators initially sent a robot to the man's door to make contact, fearing that he could still be armed. The man came out with his hands up, Pena said.
The suspect, described as being in his 50s or 60s, still needed to put through a lineup and questioned by detectives. His name was not released Tuesday evening.
There was no immediate word on what might have motivated the attacks.
"We don't know how this happened or what led up to it," Pena said. He would not say whether the man knew the victims, who were also men.

Wally-haters in action??
I was stood at the light at the 101 fwy and Union Hills (where this was), and noticed a Glendale PD squad car, and an unmarked car, lights and sirens, suddenly pull out into the intersection and into Walmart.
All this about 15 minutes after the shooting occurred.
I've been in there several times, and will go in there if I'm working in the area. Very clean store, and clean neighborhood. Who'd a thunk?
SLB, you bring up a good point. I have a CCW permit, and won't hesistate to carry, even for what would seem like a "harmless" errand.
