A pol is a pol is a pig. Their Prime Directive: Don't Queer The Deal.
These Pennsylvania Republicans don't think they should be called on anything
because they have the (R) after their names.
Go YCOP!

Their tactic is to paint us as crazy extremists, he said.
No, their tactic is to expose you as crooks.
D'oh!

On July 7 at 2 a.m., state legislators voted to give themselves a pay increase Nothing good happens in legislative bodies after 8pm. They need a strict closing time.

These young conservatives need to do as our generation did and stand up to liberalism wherever it rears its ugly head, even when the liberals in question call themselves Republicans.

On July 7 at 2 a.m., state legislators voted to give themselves a pay increase of more than 30% without debate. They gave themselves a pay raise at last call. Interesting.

Nothing good happens in legislative bodies after 8pm. As opposed to what they do during the day?

Too bad they didn't even consider that such self-centered, others-robbing voting could get them voted OUT.

Jubelirer aide Mike Long says YCOP can expect a lawsuit. Although Jubelirer will not file it, one of his supporters is likely to make the motion.
On what grounds would they file a lawsuit?
It's not defammation if it's TRUE! Are they saying they DIDN'T vote for a pay raise??

The National Republican Party totally blows - not conservative at all.
Come on - it can't get a better leader than Ken Mehlman? How about somebody who doesn't talk like he has marbles in his mouth.
Dork.

Did these dim bulbs in Harrisburg think we wouldn't notice what they did if the young conservatives didn't point it out? As for them suing the young conservative group - ummmm, on what grounds? Telling the truth? Granted, if somebody does sue and it gets into the PA court system, the crooks are likely to win since they cut the crooked judges into the pay raise to make certain it didn't get tossed.

Each billboard features a large black and white photo of the lawmaker on the left. The billboards say things such as, Senator Wenger voted to raise his own pay to $115,000. A 36% increase. A photo of that billboard, with the smug, smiling picture of Sen. Noah Wenger, is in the original article.
Radio ads are made to accompany the billboards. [Senate Pres Pro Tem Bob] Jubelirer, the first to be attacked, said he is offended by the campaign. A spot that aired in his Altoona district notifies constituents that Jubilee upped his pay to $145,553 a year, with an increase of 34%. It ends, Sen. Bob Jubilee: Raising our taxes and his salary, since 1975.
Jubelierer has threatened a lawsuit (for truthfully reporting what he has done?). And some kind of hired state Senate hack has called the organizers, threatening them with arrest.
Sounds like these guys need even more billboards.
The Young Conservatives' website is at http://www.informedpa.com/. You can also see the voting record of every member of the legislature on this site, and hear the radio ads. I just listened to the one that has Bob Jubilier upset.
