Who would have ever thought that organizing a trip to Crawford, Texas, would result in someone writing me hoping that my wife gets cancer and dies and my sons are killed in a terrible accident?
That sentiment was fairly typical of the hundreds of e-mails we've received after our bus trip to Crawford Friday night to show support for President Bush and the soldiers fighting the war on terror. Evidently, our little adventure has touched a raw nerve in the fierce anti-war crowd.

Laugh in their face, then say, "Aren't you such a nice liberal!"

MSN support makes all this Sheehan circus possible.
They're reporting, or engaging in anti Bush rhetoric.
The more, but in reality it's Moore, the better.

Good for Mike and his supporters! And of course the leftists responded as they did--they're the hard-core extremists who hate America. Many soldiers will die because of the encouragement these traitors are giving to our enemies, but the leftists don't care. As far as they're concerned, soldiers who love their country are evil and deserve to die.
I would just LOVE to parachute all such leftists into a country that lives what the leftists preach, and see how they like it. With, of course, no American military to protect them from the consequences of their actions.

Most of the writers seem to miss a basic fact: parent's can't send their grown-up sons off to the military. That's a choice they have to make for themselves.

I don't mean to keep this going, but I'm not sure what I would do if someone said that to me. Has there ever been an actual confrontation?

And just when have "basic facts" mattered to liberals?

From what Gallagher wrote, they kept their distance from the Sheehan hooligans, even when a reporter asked if they were going to go confront them. They were there to support the Presdent, not inhibit the leftists' frre speech.

No surprise here.
The Looney Left has at least enough intelligence to realize they're not going to wield any significant power in this country for a long time to come - if ever - and it's driving them right over the edge!

You're in Seattle? I'm sorry.
The rest of the state is more tolerant of opposing ideas. I'm in Grays Harbor Co., and get a few dirty looks here and there, but over all folks are alright.

Reading those is like staring at a car wreck. I was really impressed with r.moran@msn.com. Mr. R. Moron goes into such a sex tirade it is hard to judge wither it is his fantasy or just his way of being insulting.

No need to imagine. When I went and got a copy the clerk looked like a retired elementary teacher.
After she got done with her sighing and stomping around behind the counter making it oh-so-obvious she didn't have time to be bothered looking for my book, I asked her "What's wrong? Don't like the title?"
"Well, I think they could have picked a better one, but whatever."
She walked straight over to where it was sitting, and handed it to me without so much as a glance, swiped my card through the machine, pounded the codes into the keyboard and said, "Have a nice day."
I nearly laughed in her face.

I was a deckhand on the "High Roller" out of Westport, 1978-1979. I left Seattle three years ago. Being conservative in Fargo is normal.

Hell, I once posted an anti-socialized-medicine message on a website largely populated by the peace-and-understanding crowd and received replies declaring that they hoped I'd catch a painful disease and die slowly. Nice folks.

Why? Because liberals hate you, hate American, hate Bush, hate the family, hate Republicans, but apparently really don't hate terrorists.

These are evil hateful people who are to be condemned at every turn.

I read some of the emails to Mike. So some loser on DUH writes a form letter and all the little sheep sign their name to it.
Almost every email word for word talks about Mike being a Chickenhawk, that his 4 kids aren't serving in the military and that it was a counter-protest against Sheehan. Then they fill it with their own brand of vile, disgusting, and unoriginal cheap insults.
Liberals are so easy to manipulate.
