Face it, this woman is going to be the center of the war protests from now on, the 'human face of the anti-war movement'--I can almost here Bob Schieffer saying it. The anti-war movement has not had a central figure until now, and since the WOT has W as its center, and from now on it will be "The mother vs. The Powerful President." And we know how the media love the feminist angle on anything (paging Jessica Lynch).
Having said that, I'm underwhelmed by the small size of the crowd she's drawn. I guess war protesters can't stand the heat, literally. Also, the longer Sheehan is in the limelight, the harder it will be for the MSM to completely ignore her anti-Israel comments--anyone needing proof of the media bias need only look at how this "tiny" detail is omitted from the laudatory articles about her. And they can only cover her so many times without the reader/viewer realizing how unhinged and self-centered she is.

And yes, by making her the center of the anti-war movement we are learning more about her
It's one thing to be against the war
It's a totally different thing to be involved with a group like Code Pink ... who sent money to the ingurents in Iraq
The same ingurents that killed her son

I agree. She will be the "human face" of the anti-war movement, as you say, as long as she is useful to them. I won't be surprised to see a few other glory hounds rising from obscurity and trying to get face time. The chances are, if they have the ability to articulately express themselves beyond the leftist talking points, as she so obviously can not do, they might usurp her, or join her, at least.

I dunno. She's useful right now. Two months from now, I don't think we're going to be hearing from her. Partially because it's old news, and partially because it'll be impossible to maintain obfuscation for her and her cohorts. She'll no longer be useful.
