Hey Earth, I may or may not be going. I am still mad a bit at Bush myself for other reasons of which you know to really want to go, however it is a good thing to support the troops so i would totally do that for them. But if i make it down i will not even say Cindy's name or give her a minute of my attn.
DU'rs who went to see Cindy rant are complaining that reporters are invading their personal space. YEAH!

I am back in the hotel room, sunburned and ant-chomped and utterly thrilled. Being here these last two days was the rarest privilege. It was a Happening in the truest sense of the word, and it is growing. If you can get here, get here.
BUT: Understand that this thing could be killed by its own success in two ways. 1) It could get so large that the cops would be forced to shut it down. Remember, there is very little available space for people and cars. We were all in ditches. 2) A lot of people could show up and turn the thing into a multi-faced multi-subject disorganized mess, and that would be a disaster. If you go, focus on Cindy and the families of the fallen soldiers, and ending the war and calling George to account. Period.

Cindy and the other families, and all the activists who were there, and everyone keeping this vigil, are patriots and the rarest of heroes. Don't let disgruntled outsiders or blathering right-wing pundits tell you any different. It was an honor to stand in that ditch, to watch these Americans demand accountability from the public servant over the hillside.

we're coming from Sugar Land and meeting daughter from Dallas! We have a son who's going to Iraq (Army) in Nov. and a nephew who has just returned from his THIRD tour of duty in Iraq (Marines). We're proud of these young men and women and will definitely be there to add our voices to the support of our President, our troops, and our country!
understand Sandy Berger is going to Crawford and will be doing a lot of "behind the scenes" bag work for CNN. Whoever in Atlanta decided to hire this clown should go back to the Columbia School of Broacasting for a refresher... people sure forget easily

I thought of a good piece of counter-offensive some of you might want to try.
Dress as a lefty (whatever you think that might be) and drift over to the "lefty" crowd to be one of them.
You can then hand out the hundreds of copies of Cindy Sheehan's OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH (click here) which you have printed up.
Her hysterical leftist rantings will be her own undoing, and you can be there to help.
Just join in with all the looney chants (the loonier the better) and generally have a good time. There is no way you can overdo it.
I guarantee I would love to do this!!!
I find it just a little ironic that Ms. Sheehan insists on talking to the President because she disagrees with him while refusing to speak to her own family just because they disagree with her. Maybe my logic meter is broken.

No, I don't mean saying something against her...I mean infilterating the lefty crowd and becoming "one" with them...handing out her own words in the guise of "helping her get the word out."
