Blitzer is having Clinton on today so Clinton can get attention for his AIDS work in Africa. Blitzer will ask huggy bear questions about Hillary's 2008 presidential run, Clinton will ooze charm. Oh Blitzer might ask Clinton about the Roberts' nomination, they will navel gaze about Clinton's picks, but I don't think Blitzer will ask one tough question of Clinton. Not one.
I think that we here at FR had her exposed very well for th eClinton operative that she is. She is where this will end up as far as the commission is concerned. The head of the 9/11 commission stood by her and he should be casterized for stupidy and prosecuted!!
All roads lead back to Clinton's failure to do his duty. GWB is failing to protect the borders and we will pay the price for that. GWB will have to rethink his policy on the borders.
I guess Ashcroft doesn't think blowhard Tom Kean's remark that people should just "BUTT OUT" should be obeyed.

She instituted rules (later made department policy) that separated criminal investigations from intelligence gathering -- even though, as she admitted in the memo, such rules went “beyond what is legally required.”

Tom Kean was another poor choice by Bush. Bush apparently was oblivious to Kean's back-stabbing record when it came to non-RINOs. I believe Kean did all he could to torpedo Bush's chances of getting relected. That was Kean's agenda.
Guess what Sandy didn't do?

If Blitzer even mentions "Able Danger" to Bill Clinton, it won't be a surprise to Clinton, and he will have a BS non-response response at the ready. But believe me, this interview is nothing more than a double dipping PR stunt. Blitzer needs viewers, and Clinton needs attention. Clinton wants legacy enhancing attention on his Africa Aids program, and to get it he will endure a few puffball questions about Hillary's presidential run. Blitzer's not about to ask tough, or unexpected questions, of Bill Clinton.
