I am trying to be clear on terminology.
The Latin "circum-" means around (or about). Circumcision is, literally, a cutting around.
The article mentions circumcision and then moves into discussing it as if it were infibulation with clitorectomy, leading one to believe that the two are the same. They are different procedures.

Perhaps I am being too picky about the words, but words have meaning.
