As has happened during the last couple months, the Pinkos didn't even pretend to be protesting the fact that Walter Reed admits new war-wounded patients at night, instead of during the day.

Makes sense - the night staff does not have as much to do, so they have the time to manage the new admissions. I plan to be in the DC area in September, so please add me to the ping list. I'd like to join you.

The night-time admissions are based on the flight schedules and other logistics. Planes with patients come in from Europe and the Middle East to Andrews Air Force Base in the late afternoon or early evening. Some patients are checked by doctors at the AF hospital and most are transported after the rush hour gridlocked traffic has died down, so they don't spend too much time in traffic delays.
