the "weird noises" children make when they die.

Now why on earth would anyone want to link a U.S. soldier with the noises children make when they die? Life imitates "Over There" already?

"Sepi said the man, identified by authorities as 26-year-old Kevin Ratcliff, produced an object that he thought to be a gun and opened fire."

Obviously I have no idea what actually happened here, but depending on whether Sepi was visibly carrying his weapon or was visibly acting oddly, it is also entirely possible that the male, despite whatever his other activities (men in allies at late night aren't selling lemonade), was totally justified in drawing his weapon and firing.

If headline-writers were consistent, we'd see things like:

LEFT-HANDED DEMOCRAT-VOTING COLLEGE GRADUATE charged with MURDER!!!!

Waiting for treatment of PTSD. Where did that happen? Not at a VA hospital. They are great about getting PTSD patients into a treatment program.

Well, I think Sepi is either going to jail or a mental hospital.

There was a discussion on another thread the other day about PTSD and someone said the guys and gals coming back are screened for this disorder. I wonder if Sepi may have concealed his condition? I know a lot of people posted items saying they worked with these guys and they were screened. I am sure the defense lawyers and or the prosecution will be checking that out too.

During the Vietnam war I came off a real bad ambush patrol within two days I was on the bird coming home. There were no programs set up and no one talked about PTSD. In fact, in those days it could be a career killer to seek help.

The police might want to check on unsolved murders that occurred in this guy's neighborhood PRIOR to him going into the Army.
