I'm probably just being cranky, but where in the Constitution does it say the Federal government should tax us so it can promote ANYTHING about contraception?

Why isn't he calling for an investigation of government programs that promote (implicitly or otherwise) premarital and extramarital sex, not to mention gay sex?

Right after it says that they can use my tax dollars for an abstinence web site. The whole thing's ridiculous. Parent's should teach their kids about sex. Not the government.

It's part of Scottish law.

Spector? I know you are going through Chemo, but is it effecting your brain?? Abstinence IS contraception, it's the only foolproof contraception, in fact!

I'm probably just being cranky, but where in the Constitution does it say the Federal government should tax us so it can promote ANYTHING about contraception? It doesn't say that anywhere, nor does it say that the federal government may tax us to provide housing, food, medical care, and education for children whose parent(s) didn't want them in the first place. But under the current reality, that's what it's doing, and the tab for promoting contraception is a whole lot smaller than the tab for underwriting the huge welfare state, so until the federal government gets out of all these things it has no business doing, I'll opt for anything that reduces my bill.
