Good news.

Of course the MSM will not tell America that Clinton had over 100 recess appointments, (I don't know the exact number).

I am upset that the Senate did not simply pull out the nuke this appointment.

There is no Constitutional reason for anything other than a simply, quick, up/down vote for any of the President's nominees.

Here's a few. I know there are more:

"President Bill Clinton made a recess appointment of Bill Lan Lee as assistant attorney general for civil rights, when it became clear that Lee's strong support of affirmative action would lead to Senate opposition. Similarly, when the Senate did not vote on his nomination of James Hormel to be Ambassador to Luxembourg, because he was gay, Clinton made a recess appointment. (Hormel thus became the first openly gay person to serve as a U.S. ambassador.) Clinton was strongly criticized by Congressional Republicans for making recess appointments. [1]"

Here's a PDF file that explains Recess Appointments:

Actually Brit Hume was on as a guest on another Fox show and said that Clinton had 30 more than Bush (I hope I have that correct.)

Brit also mentioned that although the Democrats were on hiatus, they all seemed to have gotten the same memo about using the "abuse of power" words....since Dodd, Kennedy, et al have all used it today in response to the appointment.

The Democrats aren't very original are they? But they must have one originalists...the guy who sent the memo to the other traitors of our country.
