Sorry I underestimated the turnout -- glad to hear we were 21 strong. So, next week let's make it 30, and then we can truly overwhelm the 3 corners! The intersection is very, very large, so we can easily accommodate more FReepers. Don't forget the positive value of just letting the soldiers know we care and are so grateful for their service. It almost doesn't matter that the black hole Code Pink is there, with their backs to Walter Reed, while we are facing the cars coming and going from the gate.
Coop had earlier said 21 as well. I counted repeatedly, and had others count for me, and came up with 20. (That's not counting the Vietnam vet and his two family members who talked for a while and were given the Club Gitmo air-conditioner hand-fans made by 3D-Joy.)
