Alleged felons accused of driving a stolen car to court.

Two Bowling Green men who drove to their trial at the Butler County Courthouse in Morgantown not only were convicted, but were arrested again when the trial was over. Authorities say Terry Hunt, 39, and Justin Hawkins, 24, were accused of driving to the courthouse Tuesday in a stolen car.

Hunt and Hawkins had driven a 2005 BMW to the courthouse to attend their jury trial on arson and fraudulent insurance acts. After the discovery of the stolen vehicle, police searched the residence of the two in Bowling Green and found two stolen SUV Lexus' in the garage.

Hunt and Hawkins plead guilty to the charges of arson and fraud, and heard a jury recommendation of 20 year sentences. They're currently lodged in the Butler County Jail awaiting final sentencing.

They've been charged with the vehicle thefts, and will be arraigned in Butler and Warren counties.

Allegra, are you my long-lost twin?

Must be. You're the blonde one and I'm the brunette one.

Like Jenna and Barbara. ;-)

That's us! (Or... truly would we be more comparable to Danny DeVito and Arnold S.... as girls, of course!?)

Are you sure we should be in the same general vicinity when you visit?

Is that sort of like asking for catastrophe?

As long as it's a fun catastrophe. They're always kind of fun in retrospect, aren't they? LOL

Yes, and I've had lots of practice converting general catastrophes into fun catastrophes.

My guess is that you have, too.... since we're twins.

:-)

That's a cool feeling!

Well, Tigress, I've gotta zip into the city so if you hear of any H-town fun catastrophes, don't say I didn't warn you!

Take care -
Ocelot

Have fun and don't do anything that's going to generate your own FR thread! ;-)

Are you here in the Sandbox?

No, just a lame attempt at humor. I'm in the US, but planning an R&R trip to Thailand in the spring.
BKK was an R&R town during Nam. I was stationed there for over 3 years, and so of course couldn't get an R&R.
When I'd ask for R&R the powers that be said, "This is an R&R fool."

You know you're going to deserve that kinda treatment, when you git back over here!

Is this a great country or what!

the funny thing about these two is that they will most likely never reproduce. To make the story even better they are gay, and yes stupid, lovers. (and btw the story takes place in KY not OHIO. They lived in Bowling Green KY. Home of the Corvette and stupid criminals.) In court druing their ongoing arson trial Hawkins actually told on the stand where they were "test driving" the car from. So the prosecutors office just confirmed with the BMW dealership. The dealership didn't actually refer to the disposition of the car as being "test driven" however. They said it was freckin stolen.
