I just read the plot of this new show and watched the three clips on the site.
Hollywierd has made the first woman President a Republican! But,of course, the evil Republican Party doesn't want her to take the job because SHE IS A WOMAN! You see she was VP when the Pres dies, but the evil Republican politicos want her to step down so Donald Southerland (M.A.S.H.), the whitest old guy imagineable, can have the job.
Meanwhile, Davis is the greatest mom in the world with three kids and just wants to be taken seriously.
I predict the ratings will $uck. Doesn't mean they'll cancel it tho. It doesn't look promising to me.
I give it about 3 weeks!

Should be billed as a horror story, not a drama.
Bet Davis' character wears a black pantsuit...

But in this case, you are right. It looks like it is a Republican president, with an Independent (no party) vice-president who happens to be a woman. President dies so those nasty Republicans want her to step down in order to allow the "strong male" Republican guy (Sutherland) to become President. BLEH!
I'll tell you what this is, its the lefts pre-emptive shot against a Condi vice-Presidency. They are saying "well, if the Republicans DO run a female VP, she will only be a figure head who would be removed in a minute if the time came!"....
Considering that in real life Keiffer's father is farther left than Karl Marx and hates America more than Osama ....
He ought to be playing a Dem. Sen. not a Republican...
