The truth hurts! Remember, The Emperor's New Clothes?

"Mexican" is now a race?
Incidentally, I don't recall hearing about these same "civil rights" groups complaining about the very blantantly racist cartoons about Condi Rice around the time of her nomination for secretary of state.

"It is a shame that the cartoon in the paper singled out Mexican people. It should have singled out your Arab people. What do your people contribute to Dearborn? Tax evasion. Narcotics pedaling. Noise. Dirty houses. Women wrapped up like mummies, and now even murder. You people are a curse on Dearborn. You are the worst people to come to this country."
Well written.

Rather mild cartoon, but the various victim groups are not noted for tolerance.

Ahmed said his organization believes the letter is an example of the kind of thinking that the cartoon has inspired.
Huh ? cartoon first, then the thinking ? Ahmed should be looking in the mirror.

"immigrant families can still receive benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children, whose welfare eligibility is the same as any other native-born American. Also, in many cases state governments have chosen to provide benefits to otherwise ineligible immigrants."
The cartoon may be unflattering, but it ain't libel.

I saw MythBusters last night. Love the show normally. They were doing the myth of slingshotting illegal immigrants over the border.
They made it VERY clear that they were simulating Canadians, even going so far as to prance around with fake canadian accents. So pathetically PC.

Shut up Whitey!
Only black people can say the "N" word.
Only Mexicans can criticize Mexicans...
Whitey had better just shut up already! No criticism allowed.

Call the Thought Police! Thought Crime in progress!
It disturbs me when I hear serious commentary about controlling what people think.

Is there that much of an illegal immigrant problem coming from Canada?
My point is they used Canada so as not to offend mexicans.
