Thou shalt not buy an electric car, for it is uncool. This one is just nonsense. Concepts of "cool" and "uncool" are purely speculative. What is "cool" to me might be "uncool" to someone else, and what is "cool" to someone else might be "uncool" to me. Who's to say what is or isn't "cool"?

Certain amount of truth here. I regard 400 hp as rather cool. When electric karz can keep up with a '68 Charger RT, then they will enter the realm of "Cool."

Electric cars are NOT cool. Big Hummers and Titan pickups(bought mine today) are cool.
I burn more gas than anyone in San Diego county. Deal with it, liberals!

Who's to say what is or isn't "cool"?>>>>>>>>
My question is why should I give a damn what is cool or uncool?

"Who's to say what is or isn't "cool"?"
I am, for I am very cool(and humble too, if you can't tell)...and electric cars are not. People actually think the electric car does not pollute, just because it doesn't make poisonous fumes at a tailpipe, when the electricity used to charge the batteries is produced by power plants that do indeed pollute. Typical overlook of logic by liberal environmentalist zealots.
Plus, they look dorky.
File under "DUH!"
Hybrids are where it's at.
