Don't miss another opportunity to paint those who oppose illegal immigration as Nazis. I'm sure these Indians will fit your bill.

An immigrant is an individual who enters a country legally. An illegal alien is someone who doesn't.Yes, thanks.
My wife was a legal immigrant to America and is now a naturalized U.S. citizen, so I am well aware of the difference.
"Immigrant" implies legality, or at least the intention to stay in some other country for a very long time. Normally that's a tenuous situation when one is in a country illegally.
But given that our federal lawmakers (right up to GWB himself) do not give a damn who is in America, and contantly pose schemes to excuse their criminality, it may very well be that "immigrant" is the proper word. Though still "illegal".

The tribe should start a Minutemen chapter. Then they can be accused of racism as the rest of us are.

I've got an editorial tip for the SLT headline writer: Remove the word "huge" from the headline and put "illegal" next to "immigrants". It would fit the columns just fine...The article used the word "immigrant" 16 times. They referred to the illegal aliens as "illegal immigrants" only 6 times.
(I refer to the illegals as #%&@ing #%$^#@*#s ALL the time.)
To: Happy2BMe
Here's an idea. Somebody could discover a new gold mine down in Mexico, and all the illegals would dash back home. No, that won't work because the govt. or drug lords would simply seize it. Something has to be done to fix Mexico once and for all.

" Immigrants take up 60 percent of the tribe's law enforcement time. The tribe would rather spend all that money and time on health care, education and housing. "Just another reason to enact a guest worker program that would replace illegal workers with legal ones.

You get rid of the illegal invaders and we will think about having some guest workers come up and replace them. We do not want a repeat of the last amnesty.

Don't go acting all surprised, President Bush wasn't exactly keen on beefing up border security when he was Governor. I run into a lot of conservatives from outside of Texas who are shocked at his lack of interest in securing the border.

Someone has proposed the construction of a giant catapult. This could return illegal invaders in a rapid and inexpensive manner. I suspect they wouldn't return and it just might deter others.
