All the paid(over-paid?) gov't enforcers see volunteers as a threat to their pay and status. Just as some cops are strongly opposed to "civilian carry",they believe only they are qualified to use force.

Absolutely! I think the success of the Minutemen terrified Bush, and he will do anything to stop them from keeping illegal Mexicans from coming in.

Tancredo said there are 30 million more aliens who are going to come to America in the next few years. Bush and Fox are allowing only a few million in in a given time. Keeping aliens out will ruin Bush's time table.
