Just reading this thread has made me realize that if the Republican party of the future can work with all the conservative opinions here (which are very different, but still conservative) they'd have a governing majority for a century or more. The way that everyone is in this fourm is amazing, and it leaves me, just a teenger, awed at what a great country this is, and how great it can be in the future. Hope is out there, right now, most of it is sitting behind our computers being the Pajamhedeen. BTW I do love President Bush, but I'm talking about the rest of the party, the RINOs, the Gang of 14 (however many Republicans are in on that), congress and the judcical sector. EVerything is headed in the right direction, and this is the conclusion, a free open exchange of ideas. No one catching anyone on fire, no bombs exploding, and certainly no damned rituals. Except maybe a troll/zot thread. Anyway, thanks for the hope, from conservative teenage America (which is pretty big, but pretty oppressed) to you,Free Republic.

Edmond have you ever considered trying for one of the student scholarships to the annual CPAC conference in DC???? Check out their web site. Someone with your passion should do something about it.

Well, edmond...I just got back in (from being out for 4 hours in the 100+ degree weather, so I hope I make sense) and read your post. I don't know how much of this thread and/or others you have read, but your comment made my day. :) How nice to receive a reflection of such hope from one in his teen years.

You are not "just a teenager," you are indeed a perceptive young man who I hope has some influence on his peers. Or, is at least representative of those of the same age. As I approach my senior years (though some think I am already there), I recognize much of my future life will be in the hands of your generation. Comments like yours make me rest a bit easier.

Thank you for speaking out and letting us know your values are the same, and you appreciate the greatness of our country. God Bless you, and God Bless America. With all its faults, it is still the greatest nation. Congratulations, edmond I know many others are glad to hear from you!

Welcome! Conservatives can disagree (I, for example, believe we have to think of Islam as the Dark Mark of our age, but some folks think it's just misunderstood), but at least we can discuss it.

I hope all is well for you in high school or wherever you are. Be brave, be strong.

What are your future plans (or at any rate, speaking as a former teenager, you future inspirations?).

Ánimo (Spanish for "courage"or "take heart").
