"I look forward to the in-depth hearings by the Judiciary Committee and a further evaluation of this nominee." Translation: I look forward to ganging up with my fellow Democrats to find some insignificant issue to destroy Roberts with.
Allow me to expand on what you said...
Translation: I look forward to ganging up with my fellow Democrats to find some insignificant issue to destroy Roberts with, or failing that drag the process on interminably i.e. delay, delay, delay .

I thank God for the Internet...this will be different than CNN covering the "hair on the coke can"---we are an informed people now and we the ability to turn to different news sources (must keep UN's paws off of Internet..but that is another story)
eventually even the laziest American has got to see that the Dems' play book never changes...they continually spout the same old rhetoric with no real solutions....their scare tactics are old, tired and known.

Babs, you've grown out of diapers now; quit whining.

independent, non-ideological That's all Boxer wants, an independent, non-ideological judge that will agree with her, the biggest political hack in the senate.

"....or he could join with the right-wing block on the Court which has consistently expressed the belief that a womans right to choose isnt guaranteed, nor is the federal governments ability to protect workers, the environment, and a family-friendly workplace."
If the majority voted and won, is it really the right wing?

Love your comment and tagline
Thanks

I think it's the case that O'Connor said she would remain until the successor was confirmed. I think this is why you hear he Rats mantra of in depth hearings later rather than sooner and why the president has emphasized the importance of Roberts being in place at the start of next term's festivities at the beginning of October. The Rats know they can win just by dragging their furry little feet.

Is that what you read? I read, "Without prejudging the nominee, blah, blah, blah..." Gosh, you're good. I didn't get past "Statement Of Senator Barbara Boxer".
To: Syncro
Yeah right - and Sen. Boxer did not even mention terrorism! HULLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO THERE! Its our #1 issue. I guess for the Senator and the Left, its still 1973.

Why no, there is, of course, Gay Marriage and the entire Homosexual agenda.

Well, thank you. You're the first to comment on my tagline, btw. So far, I've got a 100% favorable rating, then. ;)

"What took so long, sinator boxer, the release was already written."
Somebody on her staff had already written in Edith Brown Clement. So Babs tried to correct it on her own. A staff member came into her office and found her applying white out to the computer screen. Not only that, but she had spilled the bottle and white out was all over her desk. It was quite a mess. It took a while for the staff to clean it up and edit the statement.
They keep telling Babs she shouldn't try to do these things herself, but she's not a good listener.

I find it amazing that every time Boxer's lips move, Teddy Kennedy's words come out.

Ms. Boxer is consumed by one objective, abortions on demand. She has no idea of the other problems facing this Nation, but is only aware of female reproductive organs. She is a disgrace to the U.S. Senate, The State of California, and the U.S.as a whole.
Her mental capacity is absolutely zero and she continues to want to demonstrate this in Public.
Too bad for all of us we are stuck with a one issue Senator.

Diane Feinstein was mayor of SF.....I live in Marin County, 10 minutes from where this hag lives. I am disgusted by her and the foaming at the mouth liberals. To hear this lunatic talk about "mainstream" is a joke.

Ms. Boxer is consumed by one objective, abortions on demand. I have always wondered why the most vocal abortionist are well past their reproductive age or are lesbians.
