Based on Schumer's and Leahy's statement, I'd say they're prepping the way for a filibuster. They will definitely want litmus test questions answered and probably Robert's personal notes on every decision he's ever been involved with. Unless the gang of 14 demands an up or down vote, I see a major battle. Hopefully this will lead to less DemonRATs in the Senate after 11/06.

+1. That is the burning question I'm dying to have answered. So far, this guy sounds pretty good. Being a Pro-2A originalist, ie; anti- NFA of 34 and GCA of '68, would go a long way towards proving that he is in fact a constructionist and a real conservative. That'd have me jumpin' fer joy, which would be odd enough in and of itself. ;-)
