Shame on Drudge for jumping up and down on that overruling quote. He's getting the pro-choicers more riled up than they need to be.

It gets hits for his website and that is all Drudge cares about.

"Roe v. Wade is the settled law of the land." That contradicts his other comments about Roe v. Wade as being "wrong"

He said Roe was settled law when he was being considered for a lower court judgeship. A lower court does not have the power to overturn Roe. It's different story for a SCOTUS justice...and he doesn't like Roe.

I stated that the 'right' to abortion was not within the right to privacy.

But do you honestly believe that you do not have a God given right to privacy?

Do you honestly believe that your only rights are those which are enumerated?

It wasn't me that said "he has great mainstream credentials". It was Hewitt. That is what I was reacting to. I thought he(Hugh) knew what he was saying. We have had "mainstream" for years and it has not stood us well over time. "Mainstream" for me brings up visions of Sandra Day waffling here and there. If you know Roberts better than Hugh, then fine, Roberts can have my support. I don't run in that crowd, I depend on the Hewitts to acurately describe his legal background. Apparently you don't think "mainstream" is not a good description of Roberts. Say that then. I am not bitching. If he is a conservative jurist then what is Hugh up to?
