"There is now no incentive for Hussein to comply with the inspectors or to refrain from using weapons of mass destruction to defend himself if the United States comes after him.
And he will use them; we should be under no illusion about that."
--Joseph C. Wilson, self-styled expert on everything
This is an important find!!! It needs to be widely circulated, for it shows that before March 2003 the blowhard Joe Wilson had no doubts about Saddam's continued possession of WMDs. Wilson's feud with the Bush administration originated in his own pompous self-importance and his belief that the invasion of Iraq was unnecessary and probably counter-productive. While one can certainly argue about those points (I think he was wrong), the leftist campaign evolved into "BUSH LIED" when we did not find vast numbers of WMD warheads in Iraq. Certainly we found plenty to justify the war, and of course such decisions do not get made with the easy benefits of hindsight.... but Wilson is now proved to be a fraud on yet another level, since he has gone all-out to lend support to the view that Bush concocted a fraudulent scare over non-existent WMDs in order to invade.
