Does anyone know if Fitzgerald, the Special Prosecutor, can make a public statement as to where he is at now in his investigation?
I read on a thread a few days ago that Fitzgerald had issued a statement last year on this case. He stated that the investigation had branched out into other issues.
One of the other issues was a planned raid on a phony "charity" that was leaked and somebody tipped off the "charity" in time to thwart the raid.
John Podhertz, NY Post writer, summerized that he thought Miller may have tipped off an Islamic charity before the FBI came calling on them.
Can the Special Prosecutor clear up the rampant rumors while in the process of an investigation or is he bound by silence?

Democrats and Wilson are using this Plame leak story as their future defense. When Wilson and his goons are charged with espionage, they'll claim the charges are bogus and just retaliation for "Rove gate."That's why they're screaming at the top of their lings about something that wasn't even illegal.
