Stand Watie's Lies (an incomplete list):

1) Slavery would have ended in the South by 1875, had the South been allowed to secede in peace.

2) There was a practical, efficient cotton harvesting machine available in 1860, even though none saw use until ca. 1940.

3) Dr. Stephen Lubar is the Curator of the Agricultural Collection at the Smithsonian.

4) The above-mentioned Dr. Lubar agrees with the first two points listed.

5) The state of Texas issued letters of marque and reprisal, and Texas privateers captured a German U-Boat which is now on display in a Galveston Park.

6) There were no innocent victims of Quantrill's raid on Lawrence. Every last victim had it coming.

7) Slave owners were an insignificant factor in the secessionist leadership, and slavery had nothing to do with secession.

8) Abraham Lincoln wrote numerous letters revealing deeply racist sentiments against Indians, which Watie has been allowed to see, but which are otherwise completely unknown to scholars.

9) No POW was ever mistreated by the CSA.

11) All Southerners were always kind & loved the Indians - that's way the Cherokees wound up west of the Mississippi River.

12) 100,000 black Americans enslaved in the South faught willingly for a total Confederate victory - Slaves defending slave masters to remain slaves.

13) The Civil War "was started UNJUSTLY & in VIOLATION of the Constitution by the Lincoln coven of POWER-hungry damnyankee elitists" - Did "the Lincoln coven of POWER-hungry damnyankee elitists" all live in South Carolina?

14) Most of the victims of the ethnic cleansing of the 'Southland' were "persons of colour" (both slaves & freepersons) - he must be speaking of the KKK.
