Ex and Husband took the flight to Cancun this morning. The kids told me she wasn't concerned about the hurricane as "it would only be a bunch of wind that would last one day".

For some reason I have a mental image of tourists on the beach at Pucket, Thailand the day after the Tsunami.

I was stuck in St. Maarten one year after a storm had passed us by. The storm wasn't that bad, but the power went out at the resort for a day. The problem is the lack of a.c., the kitchens can't cook and everything shuts down.

I can't imagine being stuck in Mexico under those conditions where the weather is twice as hot. Plus this storm is much, much worse.

You must feel terrible. :)

Wow. Everything shut down due to hurricane damage, no power, dirt, bugs, food gone bad, and excessive humid heat. What a great setting to experience several days of the Aztec 2-step.

On the news last night we saw people boarding the plane for Cozumel. I couldn't believe people would be so stupid.
