Wow. Everything shut down due to hurricane damage, no power, dirt, bugs, food gone bad, and excessive humid heat. What a great setting to experience several days of the Aztec 2-step.
Feeder bands are a misnomer. They don't feed the storm. Only the core does.
Thank you for breaking the image rule. I have a very slow dial up and your maps and images save me a lot of time trying to find pictures on my own. I appreciate it.
I try to keep the image small, was posting thumbnails last night... but, it's not often we see a storm like this, figured it was worth throwing one out there. ;-)
I think they're too far south too, but that's what their models are saying.
Emily is a Texas hurricane, the low over east Texas does not appear to be weaken at all, in fact my B here in Galveston country is starting to fall again, 29.8 from 29.83.
let's see what Emily does with the Yucatan, I do not think Emily is going to slame into the Yucan, graze maybe, shot the gap maybe. Slame into no.
Sure hope you are right about it shooting the gap, but the images I am seeing are showing it too far south to make that a reasonable hope at this point. Perhaps you have some different/better views then I do.
On the news last night we saw people boarding the plane for Cozumel. I couldn't believe people would be so stupid.
No, looks like I was wrong. again.
Do y'all want a new thread started for this evening?
