I didn't ride them long enough to be a full-blown, cross-country hobo, but I've slept in a boxcar or two.<p.

Back in the mid-'30's 'me and my brudders' (obligiatory Chicago accent) used to hop the slow-moving freights heading to the South Water Market on the south side. Uhhh.... the watermelon cars were our favorite. And of course, we just sat there and looked at all those melons and didn't never ever touch a one of them, right?

Ya got me beat. LOL. We rode the freights around the yard a little bit.......till we got caught and were sent packin' fer home. LOL. That 'bout all I ever did.
