They must die! (Great Read!)

For the last four years, leftists have pleaded for one thing in how we relate to our enemies in the war on terror. From silly politicians like Howard Dean, who did not even want us to go to Afghanistan; to silly activists like Al Sharpton and silly actors like Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon; to silly talk-radio icons like Al Franken and Ron Kuby, who always seem to rush to the defense of those who commit terrorist acts – they've all asked but one thing.

"Why don't we try to understand their [the terrorists] position, so we can have a better idea of why they do such things?"

The idea behind the pleading has been if we are a humane world, then civilized people should be able to sit down with each other, and reasonably talk their way through any issue that arises. And because it sounds well and good, some wonder what the harm could be in trying it.

Some wonder ... just not me.

On Sept. 11, 2001, I said that I wanted those responsible to pay for what they exacted in human suffering to America. I reiterated time and again throughout the 12 hours I was on the air that day that I wanted them dead.

On July 7, 2005, I said something similar: "I just don't see how anyone can come to any other conclusion on how to deal with these people than to capture them, try them, and put them to death. Or if need be, kill them in the field of battle."

The cowardice that produced not just the 9-11 attacks, but also the attacks that took American lives in Bali, Madrid, Jerusalem, and a handful of other places since 9-11 has only increased due to the American left's desire to "try to understand."

I know what they are getting at. In their mind, everything always has to be America's fault. So if we at one time armed Saddam Hussein because he would help protect American interests in the Middle East, then, by golly, we can never, ever take him out – especially if goes all kooky and dictatorial for more than 30 years. They would argue that we helped prop him up, therefore we are in some way responsible for all the heinous killing he did to hundreds of thousands of his own people.

So their response?

Look the other way.

I suppose that many of them would prefer we ignore Britain's current heart-wrenching situation. Most of the left will probably say: "It's not our business." A handful will justify: "Serves 'em right for going into Iraq." Which interestingly enough is exactly what al-Qaida said in releasing its statement taking credit for the blasts that rocked London. They also warned that Italy and Denmark are next on the list.

Yes, looking the other way certainly kept us out of armed conflict. The first World Trade Tower bombing in 1993, the embassy bombings in Africa, the U.S.S. Cole bombing in which U.S. sailors came home in body bags all certainly sent the message that looking the other way is just a dandy way to go.

What none of the left in America understand is that this life can't be lived by sheer moral relativism. They are afraid of this because they don't wish to be forced to curb their own behavior to actually become moral people. But their fears aside, their unwillingness to look at the face of Satan and call it what it is jeopardizes all of us. These people can not be trusted with national security because they have no sense of the difference between good and evil.

And if they don't "understand" that, then they will never get what I'm about to say.

The only moral way to deal with those who planned and executed the attack in London this week, the attack in Madrid, the attack in Bali, and the multiple attacks on Americans on 9-11 is simple: Track them down. Kill as many of them as we can in the field of battle. Those we capture put on trial. Those who are found guilty, put to death.

I don't really care to understand "why" a crazed jihadist wishes to take the lives of thousands of innocent people. I just want him stopped.

I love it: direct, to the point and effective!

Exactly why would one care about the point of view of someone attempting to blow you up. If he succeeds, you're dead meat. You either care about protecting yourself and those around you or you do not. Sharpton, Deanie-Weenie and the other nut jobs listed above need to specify whether or not they really care.

Hell, for that matter who would ever want to "understand" the thinking of anybody who thought blowing themself up was a worthwhile idea.

I share this writer's opinions. Have since 9/11. The building I worked in was half a mile from the Pentagon. For a couple of days, the lobby smelled like smoke from the fire. Words fail me when I try to express my contempt for the "people" who perpetrated that act.

Those who are found guilty, put to death.

Let's hope that's 100%.

For the last four years, leftists have pleaded for one thing in how we relate to our enemies in the war on terror. "Why don't we try to understand their [the terrorists] position, so we can have a better idea of why they do such things?"

They really just don't have a clue. They seem to think, even, that conservatives almost deserve the terror brought to them by the (cowardly) terrorists, but they fail to realize, over and over, they, too, are targets of the terrorists. And all their misguided faux sympathies (where are their sympathies for the terror victims?) and understanding won't save them.

I expect in a few days or weeks we will hear from Americans in London like Madonna or Cher or Gwyneth, who'll give bland platitudes of leftism and pleas to 'understand', vaguely blaming America somehow, but not necessarily directly. Barf.

Can some great legal mind find a way to criminalize as accessories those bland platitude splatters?

That's the left's great weakening point. It has communistist roots designed to weaken the Western societies. Everything is always the fault of Western democracies, and we owe the world everything. Our achievements, our civilization deserve nothing compared to the vaunted non-achievements of the Third World 'civilizations' that are breaking down our doors to immigrate into our despicable lifestyle.

It's all about self-hatred and the suicide of the West. And the funny part is that the leftist

To the contrary I think the left only love us when we are dying.

They love America when we are on our heels and vulnerable, they enjoy and need victimhood and martyrdom.

Its when we fight back that they hate us.

Whoops

And the funny part is that the leftist

elitists always assume that they will be the top dogs in the new emerging society. That's exactly what Trotsky, Bukaharin, Rosa Luxemborg, etc. thought until the trap came down on them. Hillary Clinton is another classic example of a leftist elitist who knows better than the rest of us what we all need.

I believe that Dennis Prager said that at the heart of libralism is the naive belief that people are good at heart. Thus, according to the liebrals they were driven to do those horrible acts by conditions beyond their control.

The nutshell of libralism: Self Delusion.

I think a trial is perfectly acceptable if we go back to conducting trials the way it was done a century or so ago. You capture a person one day, the trial is conducted the next morning, the jury reaches a verdict in the afternoon and the execution is carried the next day in the public square.

Kevin McCullough gets it! It's either as he says, or "peace in our time", "peace with honor", whatever cute words end up trying to cover our backsides as we retreat and give in.

They don't have to care - like all libs they can have it both ways. GWB will protect them and they can constantly complain about how he does it.
