America Looks to the Future; Islam Lives in the Past

Written by Barbara J. Stock Thursday, July 07, 2005

As Americans celebrate a successful space endeavor that could someday save the planet, Islamics do what they do best: attempt to plunge the world back into the dark ages.

NASA launched a 1,300-pound spacecraft named “Deep Impact” on January 12, 2005. It has now completed its mission by striking the comet “Tempel 1” after a six-month, 268 million-mile voyage. Not only might scientists learn about the very fabric of space and the origins of the universe, but we now know that an asteroid or comet on a collision course with Earth can be intercepted far out in space and it can be nudged away from a strike that could end most life on this planet.

As America toils to protect the planet and all the people who call Earth home, Islam wants to destroy the world as we know it.

My old friend, Yamin Zakaria, has joined forces with the Islamic web-based paper called Party for Islamic Renewal, sometimes referred to as PIR. They make quite a pair. Both excel at make-believe and distortions. The web-paper changes its stance on terrorism from one issue to the next. Credibility doesn’t seem to be high on its list of importance and adding Yamin to its list of contributors bears that out.

In one issue of PIR, the slaughter of innocent Iraqis isn’t at the hands of “insurgents” or Muslims, but Americans. In the very next issue, the bombings are being carried out by the evil Jews and the raping is being done by Americans. The next issue praises the “Islamic Mujahideen” for killing the American infidels and the Iraqi “apostates” that dare to defy Islam. All three versions of who is responsible for the bombings and killing in Iraq arrived in the same week.

For those who don’t know, using the term “apostate” is Muslim code for “legal target,” because an apostate either doesn’t follow Islam without question or has left it entirely.

Now, I have received Yamin’s latest column, and as usual his column was good for a laugh. It is entitled “American Independence Day: A Cause for Celebration or Mourning?” How one answers that question would depend on whether one is an Islamic terrorist. The hypocrisy in this column is so blatant that it virtually screams at you.

Yamin prattles on about the American Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights and then makes this stunning statement: “…no matter how well intended and clearly worded the principles laid down are, what really matters is how those principles have been interpreted and applied.”

Of course, Yamin would never think of applying that statement to the Quran, the supposed word of God that means only peace and love. Peace and love never enters Yamin’s mind or the minds of his Islamic terrorist friends. The only thing that they care about is power, world domination, and killing non-Muslims.

Yamin speaks of how Americans made the Native Americans “extinct.” If this is true, I want to know who is running all those casinos. Of course, if one were to strictly adhere to history, the British colonized our land and it was they who pushed the Indians off most of the east coast. I only mention that because Yamin hides in the safety of London, far from any bombs or killing. But he makes no secret of the fact that he hates the British as much as Americans, but not enough to leave England and move to an Islamic state. I have called Yamin a fool, but he is not stupid.

This is the hypocrisy of the Yamin Zakarias of the world. Yamin preaches about the evils of the west—America in particular—and how the world should embrace strict Sharia law and Islam. But Yamin remains in a ''decadent western culture'' where he and his family are safe. As a Muslim, he could leave all that evil behind and raise his children in an Islamic country, but he chooses not to do so. Yamin and his ilk live in a Pollyanna world in which Islam rules all and he maintains that there would be peace and harmony. Being in touch with reality is apparently not one of Yamin’s strong points.

Yamin rambles on by pointing out that Americans had slaves. The key word in that line of thought is “had.” Now, Black Americans are in all three branches of the government. It may not be long before America has its first Black president. America has grown and learned from its mistakes. Islam repeats its mistakes because it does not see them as mistakes but as divine guidance.

What Yamin ignores is that Muslims, especially in Africa, have slaves now, in 2005. Some are kidnapped as young boys who are repeatedly sodomized and beaten until they agree to convert to Islam. Pedophilia is common in countries under the heels of Islam. Young girls are often forced into marriage at 12 or 13 years of age to older men.

Paid slaves in countries such as Saudi Arabia are treated only slightly better. They too are beaten and I recall reading that one woman was thrown from a window for refusing the sexual demands of her “employer.”

A truly amazing statement in Yamin’s column reads: “If we don’t believe in freedom of expression for those who we despise, we don’t believe in it at all.” That is true. That is why the Nazis can still hold marches in America. That is why we allow groups like the Council on American/Islamic Relations (CAIR). What freedom of expression does Islam allow?

If a guard at the Guantanamo prison touches the Quran, it’s called desecration but Christian Bibles are burned by Muslims and they laugh. Jews are called monkeys and apes. Christians are called “infidel crusader pigs.” If one of their own dares question Islam, he is flirting with being lynched by a crazed mob. Freedom of speech under Islam is nonexistent. Just ask anyone in Iran under the age of 30. Christians are tormented and persecuted in all Islamic states.

Yamin summarizes by foolishly indicating that we Americans fear Islam but says this “fear” is giving humanity a chance to examine a wondrous alternative. He hopes that the world will collectively lose its mind and believe, “Islam’s liberation of the masses begins with the most powerful weapon of all, a free mind.”

A free mind is what Islam fears and hates the most! A free mind asks questions and demands answers, and that is the last thing Islam allows. There is no freedom in Islam, only death and oppression. Yamin knows this. That’s why he stays in London.

As Yamin remains safe in London, he supports men such as Marwan Abu Ubeida, a bomber who claimed he was part of al-Zarqawi's Al Qaeda group in Iraq. This killer was interviewed by Aparisim Ghosh of Time magazine. This man, this follower of true Islam, echoes the beliefs of far too many Muslims: ''The only person who matters is Allah — and the only question he will ask me is 'How many infidels did you kill?' '' There are over 285 million “infidels” in America and Islam intends to kill us all and Yamin cheers it on.

There is only one “freedom” that men like Yamin Zakaria believe in—the freedom of Islam to kill apostates and infidels. The only freedom of choice left to those of us who refuse to follow true Islam, Muslim or non-Muslim, is how to die. That is the “freedom” of Islam.

Wow talk about posting a most pertinent article.

According to the Google timestamp this was posted 11 hours ago, a couple of hours before the terrorist attack in London.

Islam is the past. Islamics need to wake up to what is negative and hateful in their religion.

I believe the Arabs invented the zero or 0 and they haven't contributed much else since.

Indians (Hindus) invented it. Arabs transmitted it.

Of course, Yamin would never think of applying that statement to the Quran, the supposed word of God that means only peace and love.

Unfortunately, that is not so at all. Islam is not Christianity. Peace and love have never been it's trademark.
Islam is a complete concept of the world's order from the soul of single Muslim to the relations between the nations. Is IS about world domination and expansion by brutal force. So, whatever we say, let's not accuse Yamin in inconsistency. Of course, even conquering the whole planet won't spare Islam (like any other dogma) from destructive power of free thinking. But raging ignorant savages don't know about it yet.

***Very nice.
But what have you done lately?**

This must be one the great mohammedan schools we heard of BEFORE Yusef Ben Texum rolled out of the Sudan, overthrew the moslem kingdoms across Africa, invaded Spain again to overthrow those Moslem and Christian kingdoms, all the time demanding a return to JIHAD and radical fundamentalism. The year, aproximatley 1070 AD.
