C'mon guys - you would be the first ones blasting them for their silence if they didn't say anything.
I am not trying to be a Muslim apologist here but you are being ridiculous - can't have it both ways.
No, but words have meaning, and like Dick Durbin's, their meaning is not satisfactory.
Bullshit. That wasn't a condemnation of the attacks, it was a condemnation of the British people.
"Now look what they've gone and done to us! Because of the bombings, those violent bigoted native Brits are now going to rise up and kill us!"
If that's not blaming the victim, I don't know what is.
Sorry but this is not a matter of having it both ways...the Muslim community always issues a tepid condemnation of the act and then launches into their fears of reprisals...for once I would love to see some righteous anger at their barbarous coreligionists and a passionate defense of their adopted western homeland...been waiting quite a while.
I'll be a Muslim Apologist, I don't care. These people did the RIGHT THING in condeming the bombings up front and unambiguously. I'll give them credit for that. I do wish they hadn't expressed their other concerns along with this however, it does sort of make it look like a "but what about meeeeee" whine at the end. Then again, I don't trust the media at all to give us an accurate picture of what was said or how..
These types of 'condemnation' are lip service only.
What did they say moron?..We condem it ..then the rest of the statement is about THEM and THEM being protected from reprisals. Its bS
Islam is, as Islam does.
