They're more concerned about being "discriminated against" then they are in condemning these attack.

I don't believe them. They're just playing the PR game.

"Muslims have to be vigilant now, especially the mosques, and I hope the police will increase security on mosques and Islamic centres." Good idea!!! Lets build 30 foot fences around them, and put prison guards on the remparts, guns pointed inward.

Ironic really, since their bombs don't seem to discriminate very well at all.

Right. That's the same attitude they had in the USA. But note there is not a surge of patriotism among them, or any surge in muslims enlisting now to help defend Britain against these
barbarians.
To: GPBurdell
Perhaps someone should send them a burnt and bloody Koran to rend their clothes over as well...

"The person who did this was targeting along with wider British society the Muslim community, ruining the good relationship we have."
It sounds like their concern is general as well as specific. They have the right to be worried about violence against Muslims, it was certainly a concern (that President Bush addressed directly) here after 9/11.

It certainly seems that way, doesn't it?

You know, I just barely hear any condemnations for this action...more like "we are victims too, (infidel)"

C'mon guys - you would be the first ones blasting them for their silence if they didn't say anything.
I am not trying to be a Muslim apologist here but you are being ridiculous - can't have it both ways.

Mr Sheikh said the unique good relationship Muslims had with the government and society was threatened. "Unique good?" How about just unique...

Muslim leaders have condemned the attacks on London and said they fear their communities could now fall prey to vigilante attacks. That line says it all. They don't condemn the attacks as crimes against humanity but only out of fear for themselves. Weasels!!
