I have now stopped shaking. I am now angry.

London is completely crippled. The mobile (cell) phone network is down. It is impossible to contact loved ones who are not near landlines.

If I can put my anger aside for a moment though and play tribute to our emergency services. They appear to be very well organised, know what they are doing and excecuting a superb response to terrible circumstances. God bless each one of them.

I guess it was really fortunate that I called my son immediately after it was posted here. He was on his way back from the tube station, going back to the school. He didn't even know what was going on.
