Insanity! Who on earth could ever thing this was a smart thing to do???
This will infuriate the sane world!
This royal throne of kings, this scepter'd isle,Methinks bin Laden just made a critical strategic error.
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall,
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England
---John the Gault, Act 2, Scene 1, Richard II
Good catch, onyx.
A frame grab shows emergency vehicles on the scene outside King's Cross station in London July 7, 2005. A series of explosions rocked London's transport system at rush hour on Thursday morning, causing numerous casualties and leaving millions of passengers in shock, police said. The causes of the incidents -- which occurred one day after London was awarded the 2012 Olympics and as leaders of the Group of Eight rich nations met in Scotland -- were unknown but police said many of the city's underground stations were affected. People were seen streaming out of one underground station covered with blood and soot. Passengers were evacuated from stations across the capital, many in shock and with their clothes ripped to shreds, witnesses said. (Reuters Tv/Reuters)
I have now stopped shaking. I am now angry.
London is completely crippled. The mobile (cell) phone network is down. It is impossible to contact loved ones who are not near landlines.
If I can put my anger aside for a moment though and play tribute to our emergency services. They appear to be very well organised, know what they are doing and excecuting a superb response to terrible circumstances. God bless each one of them.

I agree... it screams Islam, but some of those G-8 a-holes are violent radicals.
Thus far, 7 explosions on the 7th day of the 7th month.
Please stay safe!
Wise words, indeed, Laz. Thanks for sharing them.

Dear God. I just woke up to this horror. When did it start?
I was being ironic.
We don't have a Hell of a lot of friends in this world and we need to be there for the few.
>>and the major networks still hesitant to call it terrorism.
Please tell me you're kidding. Just damn.

An explosion destroyed a double-decker bus in central London during rush hour Thursday, police said. Two other blasts also went off in other buses, reports said. There were reports of casualties. The explosion near Russell Square occurred not long after blasts on London subways earlier Thursday, police said. Dow Jones Newswires reported that police confirmed explosions on at least two others buses. One of the buses exploded near Russell Square, police said. This thoroughly disrupts public transport in London. Note all the connection points. They knew where to hit us.
